Patrick Healy is an Associate Prof. (Senior Lecturer) in the Computer Science Department, University of Limerick and is currently serving as Head of Department.  He is Director of Lero’s Open Source Program Office and is committed to furthering the cause of open source both within Lero and, more generally, in everybody’s daily experience.

His interests are combinatorial optimization, operations research, design of algorithms, and algorithms for automated graph drawing.  He is particularly interested in algorithms for sustainable transport solutions. Always with open source tools.
