Dr Mark Campbell is a senior lecturer and Director of the Esport Science Research Lab in Lero The Science Foundation Ireland Centre for Software Research at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Mark is a Science Foundation Ireland Funded Investigator (SFI-FI) currently examining esports notably how to derive and evaluate the key performance indicators in esports performance. Mark and his research team investigate the neurocognitive characteristics of expertise in skilled performers and Mark utilises different technologies to answer these questions (eye tracking, pupillometry, NIRS; near infra-red spectography, EEG;  Electroencephalography).
